Now
Now, observe the movement of the space around you.
Move close to a person that you think has the same zodiac sign as yours.

Democratic dance floor means a competition between two DJ couples playing after the audience’s choice of song.

This is how it works:

1.You dance.
2.Two DJ teams each present song on a screen on the stage.
3.You vote for the next song by dancing on the side of the dance floor where your favorite song is presented.
4.A judge appoints a winner.
5. The DJ team with the most dancers on its side of the dance floor wins the round.
6. The winning team plays the song you have voted for and you dance again.
7. New round.

ways in which ritual and ritualized practices such as memorial gatherings, festivals, protest actions, pilgrimages, worship services give rise to modes of feeling, processes of representation, and patterns of interaction in which democratic explorations, collective resistance and/or involvement with the larger than human world are given pride of place.

what the function of rituals is and how important their bodily based mise-en-scène and diversity are for the coherence of communities and societies. It will be demonstrated that to a large extent the effects of rituals and gestures are related to mimetic processes in which people mostly unconsciously relate to ritual patterns and schemes already shaped by other people in different historical and social conditions. Due to their performative character they make the invisible visible and create a flow of experience and practical knowledge. A critical perspective on rituals is required to appreciate their hierarchies and implicit power structures and to be able to modify them.
